Jordan Young has put pen to paper on a one year deal with Gloucester City. The former Coventry City midfielder spent time on loan with City last season, with the most memorable moment coming when he scored the winner in the 3-2 home win over Kidderminster Harriers with a trademark free kick.
The 21 year old was also a professional with Swindon Town before his move to Coventry, appearing in League One for The Robins. Young wore the number 20 shirt in his previous spell and he'll assume this squad number for the coming season.
Regarding Young's arrival on a permanent deal, manager Paul Groves commented: "I'm really pleased we've secured Jordan for this coming season, he's an exciting young player with a bright future ahead of him".
Alex Petheram, Co-Chairman said: "I'm delighted we've signed Jordan , he's a great character around the club and last season he was excellent for us, coming in during a very difficult time. Welcome to the club!"
