Dawson headed out on loan

Former Captain, Kevin Dawson will finish this season on loan at Torquay United. The South West outfit will make a contribution to the players wages as he looks to get back to full fitness.
The club would like to wish Kevin all the best and thank him for all his efforts during his time at the club.
I remember the inaugural floodlight match at Longlevens in 1951. Please can you tell me the exact date of this match, which was against an "All Stars" team that included Stanley Matthews.
