Forward man Ed Williams is making a return to the club for the 2024/25 season.
The 28-year-old had a previous spell at the club with four year tenure between 2014 and 2018 and trained with the squad during pre season last year.
Williams has played for a plethora of clubs throughout his career, including a spell in the third-tier for Doncaster as well as captaining MLS Next Pro side Rochester New York FC.
Ed follows the signing of Kevin Dawson who was announced earlier in the week, Manager Mike Cook had this to say on his additions to the squad:
"I don’t know what happened last year at the start of pre-season, but as soon as I came back to the club I wanted to get him [Ed Williams] back in. I know him quite well and he is someone we have always liked, he is a good lad and he always has been.
"He is another one like Dayle Grubb, a crowd pleaser. He is very versatile in the fact that he can play in the ten, up front, on the wing as well as down the middle.
"I am really looking forward to working with Kev, I got to know him a couple of years ago when he did his coaching badges with me and I have heard nothing but good things about him, he will be a great addition to the squad."
