Gloucester City AFC Foundation

Gloucester City AFC and Gloucester City Supporters Trust are delighted to announce the formation of Gloucester City AFC Foundation C.I.C (Community Interest Company).

This joint venture will see the Club and the Trust working together alongside local partners and sponsors to run community projects with the simple aim of improving the lives of people in Gloucester.

Jim Hart, Jenny Jones, Eamonn McGurk and Matt Phillips have been appointed as Directors of the CIC.

GCAFC Chairman, Colin Taylor had this to say:

Social responsibility within our city and community was top of our list as a club this summer, the outreach of the club has been low in recent years so we are excited to support projects that can have a profound impact on the lives of people in Gloucester. Sport can be a vehicle for so much positive change in individuals and communities and personally I'm delighted with the directors we have in place to deliver this.

Trust Board Member, Matt Phillips had this to say:

This is a really important and long overdue step forward for the club. We have an opportunity to use football to do something unique that will make a real difference to the lives and residents in our local communities, all as part of the Gloucester City Brand. We will be starting quite small but hope to grow over the coming years and establish ourselves as a trusted and respected presence across the city."

The inaugural project is planned for Autumn and will see a new youth inclusion football programme in Kingsholm, an inner city area where there is currently limited opportunity for young people to access structured football sessions. Prospective coaches will be recruited from within the community and given the training and support required to create and run the programme which will provide them with part time employment.

I really support the Gloucester City AFC Foundation initiative! Creating opportunities for young people in the community to 1v1 lol through sport not only benefits the children but also contributes to a more positive and cohesive environment in the city.

For those concerned about the legal aspects of window tinting, it's important to note that Mercedes-Benz window tints comply with local regulations. Professional installers are knowledgeable about tint laws and ensure that the applied mercedes tint tint meets legal standards, preventing any issues with law enforcement.
