Gloucester City are delighted to announce the signing of Louis Hall on a season-long loan from Newport County AFC, subject to both FA and international clearance.
The 22-year-old defender who signed for Newport last July, joins up with Lee Mansell’s side as they face two away trips, to Hereford this evening and Kidderminster on Saturday.
Hall has experience at this level having played for National League South outfit Oxford City last season, helping the Hoops progress to the second round of the FA Cup for the third time in their history with wins over league opposition.
Manager Lee Mansell said: “Louis is a talented player with good athletic ability who can play anywhere on the left hand side of the pitch.”
“He enjoyed a good loan spell with Oxford City last season, he has had a few loan options to but we are delighted he has chosen us to further his football education and we thank Newport for allowing us to take him.”
Although Hall is not expected to feature tonight due to clearance, the club have confirmed that Matt Green has received his international clearance and will be available for selection away at Hereford this evening.
