Gloucester City ran out 3-1 winners against Tiverton Town in the Tigers’ first Friday night home match in 25 years.
City opened the scoring on seven minutes, with debutant Curtis Jemmett-Hutson heading home off the post.
Tiverton almost hit back instantly through ex-City man Joe Parker, but his effort crashed off the bar.
However Parker did get his goal in the 25th minute, with a brilliant curling effort into the top right, giving Luke Bell no chance in the City goal.

3-1 was how it ended, and City pick up a much-needed three points in front of a season high 1,809 fans.
City return home next week to play fellow play-off contenders Dorchester Town on Saturday, April 5.
