Matchday Guide: Gloucester City AFC vs Sholing FC

Gloucester City welcome Sholing FC to the TigerTurf Stadium on Saturday, January 18, in the Southern League Premier Division South.


Last time the two sides met it ended in a 1-1 draw at The Mortgage Decisions Stadium.


Ahead of this weekends fixture, here's everything you need to know to plan your day perfectly.

Getting to the TigerTurf Stadium:

By car:


There is limited parking for supporters at the TigerTurf Stadium, and as such parking is only available on matchdays for blue badge holders (email before matchday matchday@gcafc.co.uk), guests and officials.


Local Car Parks:

  • Two hours free parking is available at Sainsbury's on St Ann Way GL2 5SA, a 5 minute walk from the ground. 

  • Castlemeads Car Park, GL1 2NH is a Pay & Display car park and is a 10 minute walk.

  • Gloucester Quays Car Park, Baker Street GL2 5RG offers up to 4 hours parking for £5 and is a 12 minute walk.


By bus:


Stagecoach buses 8 and 11 stop just a minute or two walk from the stadium and both leave from the city centre.


You can plan your journey by using the Stagecoach app.


By train:


The nearest train station is Gloucester, which is around a 25 minute walk away.


Matchday schedule:

1:00pm: Club shop opens

1:30pm: Turnstiles open

2:00pm: Line-ups announced

3:00pm: Kick-off

3:30pm: Turnstiles close

~3:45pm: Half-time (including half-time entertainment with mascots)

~4:45pm: Full-time

6:00pm: Club shop closes

6:15pm: Stadium closes


Segregation:

This fixture is NOT segregated, however we would like to remind Sholing FC supporters that The T-End is for home supporters only.


Food and drink:

Food and soft drinks are available to purchase from the outside area of the 1883 Bar.


Alcoholic beverages, as well as soft drinks, are available to purchase from the inside area of the 1883 Bar.


Both home and away supporters are welcome to the 1883 Bar.


For pre-match, while the 1883 Bar is open, there is plenty to offer at Gloucester Quays in terms of food and drink.


The closest pub to the TigerTurf Stadium is The High Orchard, which is opposite Sudmeadow Road.
