MAX SHEAF JOINS CITY

We are delighted to announce that 21 year old midfielder Max Sheaf has joined Gloucester City, putting pen to paper on a one year deal.

Max, a former Arsenal Academy player, made his professional debut for Hull City in 2019 in the Championship. During the same season he made 3 first team appearances.

The next season he joined Cheltenham Town on loan, scoring 3 goals in 22 appearances.

In January of this year he joined Torquay on loan, helping the Gulls finish second in the National League.

After signing his deal, we sat down with Max to get his reaction.

"It feels like a family... I just cannot wait to be able to meet the fans and play some football."

"I'm delighted to have signed for the club. Since I arrived the people have all been really friendly, supportive and everyone is keen for a chat."

"I made my debut in 2019, coming on as a substitute against Bristol City in front of a packed KCOM. I scored my first goal against Oldham and so far they've been the highlights of my career."

"It was a really easy decision for me to pick Gloucester, even though there was interest from elsewhere. After sitting down the gaffa he explained the ambition and the style of play he wants to promote and that made the decision very simple. It's an exciting club to be part of."

"The squad is talented, it's full of great lads, the manager and all the staff have made me feel incredibly welcome and it feels like a family sort of culture. I just cannot wait to be able to meet the fans and play some football as soon as possible."

Welcome to New Meadow Park Max!
