Gloucester City will welcome West Yorkshire side Guiseley AFC to TigerTurf Stadium on Saturday 9th April in what will be a vital match at the foot of the league table.
City head into the game on the back of a disappointing 2-1 defeat away to Telford last weekend and will therefore be looking to bounce back with a positive result against Guiseley on Saturday.
Only four places and nine points divide the two teams coming into this game with City currently in 18th position and Guiseley in 22nd.
The last time these two sides faced each other was at the start of this current league campaign back in August. Unfortunately for City it resulted in a 2-1 loss with Jordan Young netting the only goal for the Tigers that day. Nevertheless, Lee Mansell’s side will have the crowd fully behind them this time around.
Daniel Leadbitter is likely to be available again for City after starting on the bench in the previous match. Lucas Tomlinson will also be looking to be in the first XI after he also began the previous game on the side-lines. Jake Cole remains out of action for City due to an on-going calf injury.
A victory for City will see them move further away from the drop zone and increase mental positivity heading into the business end of the season.
