City take on Hereford at Edgar Street on Tuesday night after our original game for 27th December was postponed due to a significant number of COVID cases in the Bull’s camp.
City will be looking to get back to scoring form having scored only one goal in their last five games this season.
Hereford come into this fixture having won their last two games in the National League North and have scored eight goals in their last five matches. They’ll be full of confidence after beating Farsley Celtic AFC 4-0 away from home after two goals in added time were enough to take home three points.
City are looking to get off the mark in front of goal in 2022, with our only goal this year being against Leamington on January 2nd. New signing Matt Green could be the answer. He is preparing to make his debut for City tomorrow after missing out on Saturday due to not receiving international clearance.
The last time we faced Hereford away from home in the National League it ended in a 1-0 win for City last season in November 2020, courtesy of a Matt McClure goal inside 13 minutes.
